University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Sports Department organized 01st UET Flood Light Foot Ball Tournament 2025-2026 at UET Foot Ball Ground.

In this Tournament Faculties of UET Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, UET KSK Campus, Narowal Campus and RCET Gujranwala participated and all the matches played on knockout basis. The Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) performed the ceremonial kick-off, officially commencing the tournament.

The final match played between Faculty of Electrical Vs Faculty of Architecture. Faculty of Electrical won the final match by 01-00 Score and Faculty of Architecture remained Runner-Up Team. Mr. Farooq Shafique declared best Player of the Tournament and remained man of the match awarded by Dean of Civil Faculty Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq, Chairman Sports Committee Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Rafiq, Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain, Prof. Dr. Shahid Imran and Prof. Dr. Rana Tanveer Qasim (Public Relation Officer) in final.

At the end prize distribution ceremony, The Chairman Sports Committee Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Rafiq, Dean of Civil Faculty Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq and Prof. Dr. Shahid Imran Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain and Prof. Dr. Rana Tanveer Qasim (Public Relation Officer) gave away the Medals and Trophies to the winner and Runner up Teams, Cash Prizes to Umpires, Scorers and appreciated the efforts of players and Sports Department.

The Chief Guest Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) appreciated the efforts of UET Sports Department to organize the Football Tournament.
