A high-level meeting was held at the Higher Education Department (HED) under the chairmanship of Secretary HED, Dr. Ghulam Fareed. The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, along with the Additional Secretary and senior officials of the Punjab Higher Education Commission.

 

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the project aimed at transforming UET Lahore into a Model University.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir appreciated the Chief Minister of Punjab’s initiative to declare UET as a Model University, terming it a commendable step towards uplifting higher education standards in the province.

 

He further stated that UET Lahore is rapidly progressing towards development and stability, and the university remains deeply committed to providing students with quality education and research opportunities
