The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore held the inauguration ceremony of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Provincial Female Cricket League 2025 Federal Kashmir, GB, officially launched by the Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore. The ceremony marked a major step toward promoting women’s participation in sports and encouraging female students to showcase their talent at the national level.
During the event, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of empowering young women through competitive sports, noting that cricket not only builds physical strength but also fosters teamwork, leadership, and confidence. He appreciated the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme for creating meaningful opportunities for female athletes across the country.
The inauguration featured the unveiling of the tournament banner, motivational remarks from university officials, and the ceremonial first ball bowled by the Vice Chancellor to formally commence the championship.
