The All Pakistan Textile Sustainability Competition 2025 was formally inaugurated at the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore, Faisalabad Campus. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) inaugurated the event.

 

The competition aims to promote sustainable and environment-friendly practices within Pakistan’s textile industry and to encourage students to present innovative solutions for future challenges of sustainability. Students from various universities across Pakistan participated and showcased their research projects, sustainable textile innovations, and eco-friendly product ideas.

 

While addressing the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the organizers and emphasized the importance of sustainability in the textile sector, stating that the future of global markets depends on green technologies, resource efficiency, and innovative textile processes.

 

Faculty members, industry experts, students, and distinguished guests attended the inaugural ceremony.
