MOU Collaboration Between UET Lahore & ULEF Alumni (USA & Pakistan) to Establish an Artificial Intelligence Lab

University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UETiens Lahore Endowment Foundation (ULEF) Alumni Chapters USA and Pakistan to establish a state of the art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab and initiate collaborative projects aimed at advancing research and innovation for UET students.
 
The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), Vice Chancellor UET Lahore, who warmly welcomed the distinguished alumni members and shared insights on the university’s progress, new academic programs, and future challenges.
 
Engr. Ahmad Naveed, Director Alumni Office, formally opened the session and highlighted the significance of this collaboration in strengthening alumni engagement, student learning, and career development opportunities.
 
The alumni delegation was led by Engr. Muhammad Siddiqui Malik (ULEF-USA) and Engr. Dr. Mohammad Salman Iqbal (ULEF-Pak),
accompanied by Engr. Noman Zafar, Dr. Noor Sheikh, and Engr. Niaz Siddiqui, representing the executive members of both chapters.
 
 
All Deans of Faculties, Registrar UET Mr. Muhammad Asif, and Director External Linkages Dr. Muhammad Waqas were also present during the ceremony.
 
During the meeting, the delegation reaffirmed their commitment to begin the execution phase immediately and to collaborate on a range of innovative projects contributing to the university’s long-term development.
 
This MOU symbolizes the enduring connection between UET and its global alumni community and highlights the crucial role of alumni partnerships in shaping the future of engineering education, research, and innovation in Pakistan.
