New Venture Contest (NVC) 2025 Organized at UET Lahore: A Showcase of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Talent

The much-anticipated New Venture Contest 2025 was successfully held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, bringing together the brightest young minds in entrepreneurship from across the country. The competition, organized through a collaborative effort between Industrial Partnership Projects - US (IPP-US) and the Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS) at UET Lahore, provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial spirit.

The event, which aimed to encourage and reward innovation, attracted participants from numerous academic institutions nationwide. Ten finalists were selected to present their business pitches in front of a panel of esteemed judges, vying for a grand total of $100,000 in cash prizes. The competition offered not only a chance to win but also the invaluable opportunity to gain exposure to top industry leaders, investors, and innovators who were present to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. The New Venture Contest 2025 featured distinguished individuals from academia and the business world, with the presence of key figures making the event even more prestigious.

Dr. Amjad Saqib, the Founder of Akhuwat Foundation, attended the event as the Chief Guest, inspiring the participants with his words on social entrepreneurship and community-driven innovation. The event was further graced by the Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, who attended as the Guest of Honor, highlighting the importance of fostering entrepreneurial initiatives within academic institutions.

The competition not only allowed participants to pitch their groundbreaking ideas but also fostered collaboration and networking among students, academia, and industry experts, ensuring that innovation is encouraged and supported at every stage of development.
