Civil Engineering Department, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore organized One day international Seminar on Environmental Friendly Cement-less Concrete for Future Constructions in Pakistan: Geopolymer Concrete, A Sustainable Solution as part of HEC funded China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)- Collaborative Research Grant to disseminate the findings of Three years of research project on 25th November, 2025 (Tuesday). This was the Third Seminar in the series to be conducted in this Research Project.

 

Seminar proceedings signify the need of new environmental friendly construction materials and technologies in construction industry.

 

Respected Faculty members, Engineers from academia and industry, post graduate and under graduate students, and researchers participated in this Seminar.

 

Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Zahid Ahmed Siddiqui, Guest of Honor, Principal investigator, Dr. Qasim Shaukat Khan, Associate Professor Civil Engineering Department, UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq, Dean Faculty of Civil Engineering, Chairman Prof. Dr. Noor Muhammad Khan provided detailed information on Geopolymer concrete, an environmental friendly cementless concrete for future constructions in Pakistan.

 

Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) appreciated the Principal investigator and Co Principal Investigator on successfully attaining the objectives of the HEC CPEC funded project.
