The Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, in collaboration with the U.S. The Department of State's Chemical Security Program, jointly managed by Sandia National Laboratories (USA), the CWC Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, and UET Lahore, organized a five-day workshop on “Chemical Risk Management Curriculum Development”.

During the visit, the delegation met Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore. Both sides emphasized the significance of chemical safety, international collaboration, and academic development in tackling global and local security challenges.
