Renowned former cricketer and internationally acclaimed Islamic scholar Saeed Anwar visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore today and delivered the Friday sermon at the university's Jamia mosque on the topic of turning towards the Almighty. In his sermon, he elaborated on the philosophy of piety, emphasizing the importance of seeking closeness to Allah and living an Islamic way of life through a thought-provoking and spiritual discourse.
After the Friday prayers, Saeed Anwar had a special meeting with UET Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir and faculty members. He commended the Vice Chancellor's efforts in promoting religious harmony, his dedication to reviving mosques, and his contributions to spiritual development within the academic community.
