SADA E KASHMIR
Introduction
The UET Literary Society organized an awareness event on “Kashmir Solidarity” in University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore to highlight the significance of unity and support for the people of Kashmir. The event aimed to educate students about the historical and political aspects of the Kashmir issue while fostering a sense of responsibility and solidarity. Various competitions, including poetry, essay writing, article writing, debates and speeches, were conducted to engage students in meaningful discussions and creative expressions.
Objectives
The key objectives of the event were:
1. To raise awareness about the Kashmir issue among students.
2. To foster unity and solidarity for the people of Kashmir.
3. To encourage students to express their views through creative and intellectual activities.
4. To develop critical thinking and communication skills through competitions.

Students participated in these competitions by composing thought-provoking essays, articles, and poems that reflected their perspectives on the Kashmir issue.The writings covered historical insights, current situations, and future prospects.
Debates and Speeches
A debating competition was organized where students passionately presented arguments on various aspects of the Kashmir conflict. Participants were judged based on *content, delivery, and reasoning skills.
Farzan and Faaiz Ahmed got their name as Winners for the Debate & Speech Competition.
Essay & Article Writing Competition
An essay & article writing competition was organized for students to depict the struggles of the Kashmiri people. The topic was the Problem of Kashmir.
Abdullah Rasheed got his name as the winner of the Essay Writing Competiton.
Quiz Competition
A quiz Competition was organized where students were tested on their knowledge of the History of Kashmir
Tehreem Javed got her name as the winner of the Quiz Competition
Nazm Competition.
A competition of Nazam writing was organized among students of different Departments.
Asghar Ali got his name as the winner.
Participation and Audience Response
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different departments of UET Lahore. Faculty members and guest speakers appreciated the efforts of students in raising awareness and expressing solidarity. Among 117 students actively participated and engaged in discussions, showing a deep understanding of the topic.

The Sada e Kashmir Event at UET Lahore successfully achieved its objective of educating students about the Kashmir issue and fostering unity. The university administration and faculty expressed their commitment to organizing similar awareness programs in the future.
