A seminar on "Voice of Visionaries" was organized at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore by the female student Society Zimal. The event was graced by the presence of UET Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, who acknowledged the capabilities of women.

The keynote speaker for the seminar was Saira Iftikhar, a dairy value chain expert and former member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. In her address, she motivated students to pursue their goals with determination and perseverance. The seminar aimed to provide young students with opportunities to engage with industry experts, allowing them to gain valuable insights for their educational and  rofessional growth.

The event concluded with a Q&A session where students actively participated. In his speech, Dr. Shahid Munir highlighted that "the growing number of female students at UET, which now stands at 32%, reflects the commendable enthusiasm of parents towards educating their daughters." He emphasized that Pakistani women are in no way inferior to men in terms of talent and ability.

Dr. Munir also reiterated UET’s commitment to providing essential facilities such as hostels and classrooms for female students, stating that "educated women play a vital role in the development and welfare of society."

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Rehana Sharif, the advisor of Zimal Society, presented commemorative shields to the Vice Chancellor and the guest speaker, Saira Iftikhar.
