The Administrative Staff Association (ASA) elections 2025 of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore were successfully held with enthusiastic participation from the staff.

According to the official results, Ch. Abdul Hameed was elected as President, Amjad Hussain Amjad as General Secretary, Abdul Muhaimin Farooqi as Vice President, and Ijaz Ahmad as Joint Secretary. Furthermore, Tahir Mehmood Khan was elected as Finance Secretary and M. Majeed as Social Secretary.

For the Executive Members’ seats, M. Zargham Nusrat, Aftab Ahmad Khan, Ms. Shahida Nazir, Sajid Rashid, and Ms. Fouzia Khurshid were declared successful.

Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected President Ch. Abdul Hameed and General Secretary Amjad Hussain Amjad expressed their commitment to work tirelessly for the welfare of the administrative staff, addressing their issues, and contributing towards the overall betterment of the institution. They emphasized that through teamwork, practical measures will be taken to safeguard the legitimate rights of employees and to initiate welfare projects.

The administrative staff of UET Lahore congratulated the winning candidates and expressed hope that the new leadership would fulfill its promises and serve the staff with dedication.
