The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organized an online meeting between Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), Vice Chancellor UET Lahore, and Mr. Ahmad Farooq (TI), Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a proud alumnus of UET’s 1988 Electrical Engineering batch. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Ahmad Naveed, Director Alumni Office, UET Lahore.

 

The Vice Chancellor shared updates on UET’s recent achievements, including its improved international ranking, research and academic progress, and the establishment of alumni chapters at national and international levels.

 

Ambassador Ahmad Farooq appreciated the university’s advancement under the Vice Chancellor’s leadership and expressed his commitment to strengthening collaboration between UET Lahore and its global alumni community. Both agreed to work together for the university’s growth and international engagement.
