A ceremony for the distribution of Quran translation was held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore by newly elected body of UET Teaching Staff Association, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasir Hayat presided over the ceremony. During the event, the chief guest, renowned Islamic scholar, Professor Dr. Abdul Quddus Sohaib, highlighted the importance of Quran and its translation, emphasizing that learning the translation of Quran is a key way to better understand Allah’s message. Dr. Sohaib presented copies of the Quran translation to UET’s faculty members, marking a significant step in spreading the knowledge of the Quran.

In his address, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasir Hayat thanked the guest of honor and shared that learning the translation of the Quran is a noble act of charity. He further stated, “The Quran is a great miracle, and we need to increase its respect and value in our hearts. By reading and learning its translation, we can reform our children and society in the best way possible.” The ceremony was attended by all Deans, the President of the Teaching Staff Association Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, and General Secretary Dr. Tanveer Qasim.

Dr. Tanveer Qasim shed light on the significance of the Quran translation and extended special thanks to donor Professor Dr. Shabbir Ahmad Nasir for his contribution to this noble cause. Dr. Qasim mentioned that the event is a major step toward the spiritual and intellectual development of UET Lahore, as it is part of the ongoing efforts to better understand and spread Islamic teachings.
