The newly elected office bearers of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Teaching Staff Association (TSA) have officially taken charge. A ceremony was held in this regard, where the Vice Chancellor of UET, Dr. Shahid Munir, addressed the attendees. Dr. Munir emphasized that the university community is like a family, and collective efforts are necessary to drive the institution's progress and stability.

He assured the teaching staff that every possible measure would be taken for the betterment of the university, including holding selection boards for faculty promotions in the near future. Furthermore, he stated that as soon as funds are released by the government, there will be an increase in salaries and benefits for the staff. Dr. Munir also acknowledged the former team of the Teaching Staff Association, led by Dr. Amjad Hussain, for their honest and dedicated service, describing their contributions as invaluable.

He expressed hope that the newly elected TSA team would leave no stone unturned in advancing the development and welfare of the institution. The newly elected President, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, and General Secretary, Dr. Tanveer Qasim, assured the Vice Chancellor of their full cooperation and expressed hope that under Dr. Munir’s leadership, UET would reclaim its former glory. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Chancellor of UET, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nasir Hayat, Deans, and both the newly elected and former office bearers of the Teaching Staff Association.
