Atlas Honda Ltd., Pakistan’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, in collaboration with the Automotive Engineering Centre of the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore, organized a Rider Training (RT) EV Motorcycle Test Ride Session and a Road Safety Awareness Seminar for university students here today. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir TI inaugurated the event as chief guest.

The initiative aimed to promote safe riding practices, enhance knowledge about traffic rules, and familiarize students with emerging electric vehicle technologies. Representatives from Atlas Honda conducted hands-on training sessions using EV motorcycles, enabling students to experience safe riding techniques under expert supervision.

 

The event comprised two key activities:

 

1. Road Safety Awareness Seminar

Held at the Automotive Lab, the seminar educated students on responsible riding, road discipline, and the importance of traffic safety. Experts highlighted the role of young riders in creating safer roads and shared best practices to reduce accidents.

 

2. Rider Training (RT) and EV Motorcycle Test Ride Session

 

Conducted at the ground opposite the Automotive Centre. Students participated in guided test rides of ICONe EV motorcycles and received practical instructions on balancing, braking, maneuvering, and safe vehicle handling.

 

The Automotive Engineering Centre and Atlas Honda reiterated their commitment to promoting road safety and advancing modern mobility solutions through continued collaboration and student engagement.
