Secretary HED Visits UET Lahore, Appreciates Financial Strategy and Record Admissions

Secretary Higher Education Department (HED), Government of the Punjab, visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, where he was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), Vice Chancellor UET Lahore.

During the visit, the Secretary was briefed on UET’s academic progress, financial management strategies, and record-breaking student admissions for the current academic year. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the university’s efforts to ensure financial sustainability through innovative planning, efficient resource utilization, and revenue-generating initiatives.

The Secretary HED commended UET Lahore for its sound financial management and praised the administration for securing record admissions, reflecting the trust of students and parents in the institution’s academic quality and reputation.

He further emphasized the importance of continuing such progressive initiatives to strengthen higher education in Punjab and assured full support from the Higher Education Department in future endeavors.
