UET Lahore Organizes “Safe Travel – Safe Pakistan” Seminar and Walk in Connection with Independence Day 2025 Celebrations

As part of Independence Day 2025 celebrations, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, organized a seminar and awareness walk titled “Safe Travel – Safe Pakistan.” The event highlighted the importance of road safety, responsible travel, and collective efforts to ensure a safer Pakistan for all citizens.

The seminar featured expert speakers who shared valuable insights on traffic rules, travel safety measures, and the role of youth in promoting a culture of responsibility on roads. Following the seminar, an awareness walk was held on campus, where participants expressed their commitment to fostering safety, discipline, and civic responsibility.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), lauded the initiative and emphasized that safe travel is directly linked to national progress and public well-being. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in the event, making it a meaningful part of the Independence Day celebrations at UET Lahore.
